“We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. Give good news to those who patiently endure who, when faced with a disaster, say, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 155-156)
It occurred in the districts of Pazarcık and Elbistan of Kahramanmaraş with the severity of 7.6 and 7.7 on February 6, and in the Defne district of Hatay with the severity of 6.4 and 5.8 on February 20 and occurred in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Hatay, Diyarbakır, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adıyaman, Batman, We wish mercy from Janab al-Haqq to our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquakes that affected the surrounding provinces, especially Kilis, a speedy recovery to our injured citizens, and our condolences to our nation.
May Allah Almighty protect our homeland, our nation, and the Ummah of Muhammad from all kinds of evil, accidents, disasters, and calamities. May Allah (swt) help us.
We have experienced one of the greatest disasters of our century to date. On this day, when all the countries of the world along with our nation are mobilizing for help, we, on behalf of the GIMDES Group [GIMDES, World Halal Council, Dünya Helal Vakfı (World Halal Foundation), Halal Dunya Markets and GIMDES Youth Volunteer], provide food, cosmetics, cleaning, food services to the disaster victims in cooperation with our HDM Markets in the earthquake zone, the local Red Crescent and AFAD institutions. Product parcels consisting of supplementary products, hot soups and meals in established cauldrons continue to be distributed. We continue to visit our manufacturers that have received Halal and Tayyib Certificates from GIMDES.
