Mr. Elman NECEFZADE (External Affairs Officer and Deputy Director of Daru’l Halal Madrasah)
Daru’l Halal Madrasah organized an international halal education program online with the organization of the Zimbabwe Islamic Community Mufti’s Office. An official delegation from Zimbabwe participated in the program.
Our Chief Inspector Mr. Mehmet BAYAR gave the course in Turkish and our Madrasah Deputy Director Mr. Elman NECEFZADE translated it into English.
As part of the training, many topics were covered such as Halal and Tayyib certification procedures, Halal Assurance System (HGS), Islamic slaughter standards, jurisprudential and technical dimensions of halal certification, and the institution of surety. In the training, it was emphasized that the issue of halal food is not only a matter of quality, but also a matter of faith and servitude.
At the end of the program, Zimbabwean Mufti Sheikh Yusuf Binali expressed his gratitude to GIMDES and the World Halal Foundation for their good services. Mufti Binali stated that this cooperation contributes to the halal sensitivity of the ummah and emphasized the importance of continuing such activities for the sake of Allah.
On this occasion, GIMDES, the World Halal Foundation and Daru’l Halal Madrasah have fulfilled an important service in laying the foundations of the halal certification institution planned to be established in Zimbabwe, with Allah’s permission. We pray to Allah (SWT) that these works, which are honored with the hadith “He who causes good is like he who has done it,” will spread throughout the geography of the ummah.
