Didn’t we witness, the Ottoman Empire which is representing Islam, last bastion and guardiance of Islam, 150 years ago, would eventually become like a European state? Even before it had even crossed our minds, efforts were being made to establish a Christian or atheist state?
When I lived in Germany with my family in the 1980s and witnessed a Europe on the verge of becoming a Christian or atheist nation, it was certainly not difficult to conclude that Europe would also give birth to an Ottoman state, that is, an Islamic civilization, in the future. Despite the passage of 45 years, I see that the article I wrote and published, “CAN AN ISLAMIC STATE BE ESTABLISHED IN EUROPE?”, has not lost its relevance, and in fact, has become even more so.
In the 1980s, the German magazine Der Spigel published the cover headline “O Christians, Muslims will be the last to bury your dead.” Der Spigel also interviewed us during those years.
Undoubtedly, everything happens by the will of Allah (SWT). Nothing can happen after He wills it. Don’t you see that humankind conquers the expanses when it desires. The world is, after all, a place of work, effort, and diligence. People will find the reward of their labor in this world. Everything is under Allah’s control and dominion. People who associate partners with Allah can establish states in Allah (SWT)’s dominion, but why shouldn’t Muslims, as people who believe in Allah, be able to establish a state where Allah Almighty’s laws will prevail wherever they choose?)
Especially today, Europe, where 30 million of our Muslim brothers and sisters live, has collapsed spiritually, and under the influence of the hurricanes of immorality everywhere, we are daily sinking into spiritual desolation and They are driven to despair. Mothers have lost their love for their children, the bonds of mutual loyalty within families have dissolved, and parents have been forced into loneliness.
In Europe, alcohol consumption is rapidly increasing, while hospitals, prisons, and mental institutions are overflowing with the insane, sick, disabled, and criminals left behind by alcohol. The number of illegitimate children is also rapidly increasing in Europe. Recent statistics show that out-of-wedlock births exceed 60%. Sexual perversion has almost become accepted as legitimate.
The Christian churches, to which Europeans are spiritually affiliated, are unable to offer any solution. Beyond exploiting the distorted Bible, they are still unable to take any serious steps toward the right path. Churches are virtually empty. Some churches are even forced to close because no one attends.
The church has become a tool for exploitation by politicians who only appear at official ceremonies. Christianity is collapsing so much that it is deleting countless Christian records from churches every day. Churches left without congregations are losing their staff. As the country is liquidated, some church buildings are being seized by Muslims and converted into mosques. Despite this, the number of Muslim masjids and mosques is rapidly increasing.
With television programs, newspapers, magazines, and sex shops, Europeans are being constantly indoctrinated. Drifting towards a hopeless and despondent future, Europe is perhaps suffering the most striking punishment for centuries of torture and oppression inflicted on the world’s oppressed in pursuit of its arrogant colonial and imperialist masters.
Against this backdrop, the Muslim population in Europe is not only increasing through immigration. The Muslim birth rate is also higher than that of members of other religions. Muslims also constitute Europe’s young population.
Let Us Hold On to the Only Strong Rope: Allah Almighty’s Rope:
In such an environment, who are the ones clinging to the only strong rope? True Muslims, the followers of Islam’s cause. Today, Europeans are afraid of Muslims and Islam.
Centuries ago, Muslims came to Vienna on horseback, even on foot, to bring Europe under the command of Islam. They couldn’t get in, but perhaps their descendants have now seized this opportunity. Coming at the Europeans’ own request and invitation, they settled here and gradually began to leave their mark on Europe over the past 60 years. Over the past 60 years, the modern buildings constructed, the factories built, and the machinery produced, both underground and above ground, bear the mark of Muslims’ hard work and rights that no one can erase or usurp. Bringing them back may have been easy. But sending Muslims away as they please will be much easier. Muslims are only just beginning to recover and are establishing an Islamic infrastructure in Europe.
Now, newspapers and television stations are obliged to mention Islam, even if they don’t want to. Some intelligent thinkers among Europeans couldn’t remain indifferent to Islam and began to study it. Years ago, before his passing, while meeting with Professor Muhammad Hamidullah in Paris, he stated that 5-10 French people converted to Islam every day in France. It’s truly exciting to hear that there are currently 7 million Muslims living in France alone. If we consider the Europeans who have joined the ranks of Islam in England, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, and even Spain, we understand that the immoral and daring attitudes of European Union officials and media towards Islam, and their rush to expel Muslims from Europe, are not solely driven by economics.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, referring to the Ottoman Empire as “an empire I don’t think will revive anytime soon,” emphasized the Butcher of Gaza, adding, “Although some may disagree with me, it will not revive.” However, fear has no benefit in death. If our Lord has decreed the Islamic revolution in Europe, no human power can prevent it.
In Russia, where we visited in 1976, we witnessed Muslims quickly embrace their religion even under the terrible oppression. In Moscow, where we visited in 2015, we witnessed the opening of numerous mosques. Even communist oppression was powerless to extinguish the light of Islam. As descendants of our ancestors who endured countless hardships, reached the heart of Europe, and were forced to return after numerous wars, Allah Almighty has granted us the opportunity to live, work, and serve Islam in Europe. Today, Europe is awakening to Islam. We must appreciate this and strive to do justice to it. No tyrannical force can make us give up these rights we have acquired. If we believe, we are certainly stronger.
Brothers and sisters engaged in Islamic services must organize their services with this understanding. Nothing can escape the hands of determination. Let us walk this path with determination. Allah (SWT) will surely extend a helping hand to us. Our goal is not to lead people down false and perverse paths through oppression and brute force. Our goal is to call people to peace, happiness, brotherhood, and justice. We are to propagate Islam. If we can first internalize these beauties within ourselves and then show them to Europe, we will have conveyed our message.
As hearts are conquered, the sun of Islam will rise in the skies of Europe, shedding its radiant light, and only then will a brand new era begin, one in which the Islamic State and order are established.
