Vegetable oils are divided into two types: fixed oils and essential oils.
Fixed Vegetable Oils: They are generally produced from fruits and seeds using hot or cold pressing methods. Cold pressing is generally preferred to preserve the beneficial components.
Essential Vegetable Oils: These are natural oils obtained from the roots, stems, leaves, and flowers of plants. They are obtained through distillation. They possess the aroma and scent of the plants from which they were extracted.
Essential Vegetable Oils and Their Benefits
Costus Oil: Udi turkey oil has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It soothes skin problems such as insect bites and eczema. It reduces the symptoms of respiratory illnesses such as nasal congestion, flu, and colds, and is beneficial for adenoid problems.
Black Cumin Oil: Lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It supports lung health. It regulates digestion and is good for indigestion and constipation. It balances blood pressure. It strengthens the immune system.
Oregano Oil: It reduces upper respiratory complaints such as cough and congestion. It strengthens the immune system. It relieves joint and bone pain caused by rheumatism. It heals acne and wounds.
Coconut Oil: It regulates blood sugar and supports insulin secretion. Coconut oil neutralizes free radicals and helps repair and moisturize the skin.
Hemp Seed Oil: It improves heart health. It strengthens the immune system. It balances hormones. It aids weight loss. Combined with its anti-inflammatory properties, it becomes a useful ally for painful injuries, infections, or autoimmune disorders.
Flaxseed Oil: Flaxseed oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and helps lower blood pressure. It promotes a feeling of fullness and reduces appetite, facilitating weight control. It increases arterial elasticity and helps treat constipation and diarrhea.
Grape Seed Oil: When used in obese patients, it treats insulin resistance. It lightens skin blemishes, nourishes the skin, and has an anti-aging effect.

Eucalyptus Oil: Soothes sore throats, sinusitis, and bronchitis. It acts as an expectorant. It reduces nervous and stress activity by promoting relaxation. It treats fungal infections and skin wounds.
Lavender Oil: It relieves headaches, muscle, and joint pain. It has a calming effect in the treatment of anxiety and depression. It can heal wounds from insect bites, burns, and cuts. It improves sleep quality.
Olive Oil: It prevents the risk of chronic diseases, reduces the risk of Type 2 diabetes, protects against heart disease, reduces the risk of stroke, aids weight loss, helps regulate blood sugar levels, and lowers bad cholesterol.
Bitter Almond Oil: It helps reduce stress, relieve fatigue, balance blood sugar, and reduce coughs.
Milk Thistle Oil: With its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, milk thistle helps treat liver diseases such as cirrhosis, hepatitis B, and fatty liver.
