KAZAKHSTAN DELEGATION VISITED GIMDES

Ms. Zahide Merve KAPDAN

Officials from Bal Halal, a company established in Kazakhstan to develop and market products through collaboration between universities, industry, and the government, visited our president at our headquarters to obtain certification from GIMDES and to consult on their work. Company officials Tazhibayeva Rimma (Executive director), Iztayev Bauyrzhan (Project manager), Zhalelov Dulat (Project manager); government official Amirzhanova Aidana and Kazakh National Agrarian University Food Research and Processing Institute officials Sugirbayev Alim, Aimakov Sultanbek, Sugirbayev Alim, Ospanov Abdymanap, Timurbekova Aigul, Aliyev Bakhodir, Food safety and laboratory manager Samadun Abdyssemat, Daribayeva Gulnur, Kulmakov Askar, Mametzhanova Gulnaz, Irimkul Baurzhan attended the meeting.

The delegation, which received inkazakformation about GIMDES’s laboratory studies, halal and tayyib standards, reliability, and international acceptance, expressed their eagerness to obtain the certificate.

Our President stated, “There are currently 5,000 types of additives in the world. We used to add salt, pepper, and sugar to our food to sweeten it and add flavor. Now, all sorts of additives are used to enhance flavor and maintain its aroma and smell. This poses two dangers for people. The question of halal/haram (halal/haram) comes to the fore for Muslims, and the question of whether it is healthy or not for all humanity. We must pay close attention to this issue so that people can consume appropriate foods.”

When the delegation expressed their interest in receiving training from GIMDES, our president replied, “People all over the world should adhere to the halal and tayyib diet created and commanded by Allah (SWT). Unfortunately, Muslims are the ones who slack off most in this regard. Education is the most fundamental institution of a country. I was very pleased with your visit, which was predominantly comprised of university officials. We live in a system where education opens the door to all kinds of ills. We must abandon the education we receive from the West, return to our roots, and maintain an education system aligned with an Islamic perspective. Therefore, education is very important. Initially, if those who wish to receive training come to our headquarters, we can provide training.”

Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the visit. Following the meeting, they received detailed information about the certification process and agreed to continue the work. The meeting concluded after presenting gifts to our guests. The delegation then visited the HDM Başakşehir branch.
