  World Halal Day news in the Arabian Media

The electronic newspaper “Elaph” (the first electronic newspaper in the Arabian world) published the news about the World Halal Day. The title of the article is “the first commemorations day dedicated to Muslims’ values which is originated by Muslims only” that covers a conversation with Dr. Hüseyin Kami Büyüközer (World Halal Council patron) about World Halal Day. Dr. Büyüközer stated that “the World Halal Day will be celebrated by our Ummah all around the world to increase awareness and understanding of Halal. It will also help unify efforts of individuals and public to come together and exchange experience and information. This day will be celebrated without politics and other affects that cause separation between Muslims”. Elaph newspaper also talked with GIMDES Technical committee member, Dr.Majed Alhariri, in which he explained the activities and the program of GIMDES on World Halal Day in Istanbul.

Another important website ‘’ Alahram-elshabab’’ (Branch of the most famous newspaper in Egypt) put the same news on their website. The website titled the news with “World Halal Day in details’’. They mentioned to the importance of this day to increase the awareness with halal food and also mentioned to the activities which carried out in Istanbul.

Al-Azhar Al-sharif also published the news about World Halal Day on his website and titled with  “World Halal Day …dedicating to Muslims’ values”. They also mentioned about the importance of this day in increasing and supporting the awareness of Muslims towards halal
