They have mobilized all their means. They are extremely disturbed by the disclosure of their heinous plans targeting destruction of family, generations and humanity. They seem quite anxious ever since their mask of “no to violence and harassment against women” has dropped.
Whereas, more than anyone else, we Muslims say no to violence against women and all kinds of violence.
“And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.” (Surah Al-Isra, 23-24)
We are the followers of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi, Yunus Emre and Haji Bektash Veli, who acknowledged not hurting anyone and being not offended by anyone as the sign of humanity; we once again loudly declare our upright stand against violence and harassment against not just women, but also men, children, animals and the environment.
According to our upbringing environment, we show three times more respect, service and reverence to our mothers than the fathers. According to our religion and tradition, men and women are not opponents and rivals of each other, but two parts of a whole, one complementing the other. They are two basic elements of the family home, which are not independent but in need of each other.
We should now be able to see that the agreement, which we can describe as “the agreement committed to entering the cultural yoke of West” continues to ruin the family, the core of society.
Demonizing men against women and demonizing women against men over the concept of “violence against women”, and the examples of deviant gender under the name of “gender equality” have already started to become widespread. To make matters worse, efforts for gender deviation will be put under legal protection, which will, without doubt, bring irreparable social fractures in the future.
MINISTRY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION, MINISTRY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL POLICIES AND RELATED ORGANIZATIONS SHOULD IMMEDIATELY STOP THE FAMILY-BREAKING PROJECTS
The Istanbul Convention has not stopped the violence against women since the day it was signed, and its destructive effects on marriages have become widespread. “Contracts are made for society.” We call it “living law” when laws or conventions are shaped according to the belief and needs of societies. In other words, changes required to meet the vital needs of societies are always possible for any kind of law. As a matter of fact, different countries signed this contract with different thoughts in their minds.
“We want the repeal of Istanbul Convention, Gender Equality Project [which are not able to provide equality, but inequity] and other related projects, which has waged war on the family and terrorize the society, before it reaches irreversible damages as in European countries.”
“The Istanbul Convention, which is incompatible with our beliefs and moral values, must be terminated immediately before our family institution collapses.”
“The biggest threat since The Rescript of Gülhane (1839) is the threat of family dissolution.”
“The protection of the family has become a problem of national security.”
WE WILL CONTINUE OUR BOYCOTT UNTIL THIS LAW IS REPEALED AND WE CALL OUR MUSLIM BROTHERS TO THIS BOYCOTT AS WELL
LGBT+ and similar perversions, which are away from chastity, honor and decency, have been introduced to society as a highly innocent issue while they are destructing the Fitrah of human beings. A demonic mind has embellished the Istanbul Convention with gilded words such as “gender equality” and “sexual preference / orientation” that not everyone can easily understand and turn it into a text of spoil. When you uncover these words, it will not be difficult to notice the vitiation trap set upon our family and generations.
With the exception of a small group of people, no one in this noble society will consent to his son living in a perverse relationship with another man, his daughter being a lesbian, pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, incest, etc. on the contrary, he will deeply hate and react to them.
A text, which is supposedly written with the aim of preventing violence against women, has not and will not sow anything other than the seeds of vitiation and violence in our society. The solution is to take precautions against all kinds of violence with legal regulations based on justice in order to protect the family and generation [which should support each parties’ rights rather than empowering one over other].
We support the sensitivity of our forethoughtful and prudent people as well as organizations in this issue and invite our people to take care of their family and generation.
Having signed the Istanbul Convention, Poland has withdrawn from the convention while UK, Ukraine and Hungary have restrained themselves from bringing the convention into force despite their signs on it [which is another sign of the great and deep dangers sowed in the convention].
We want to believe that our state administrators will repeal the Istanbul Convention and its related actions as soon as possible.
We don’t want to fall into a new disappointment.
