Elif ELMA, GIMDES Laboratory Services– Chemical Engineer
GIMDES carries laboratory studies routinely. The publication of the reports provides both the control for the manufacturers and the transparency of the service carried out with the halal assurance system to the consumers. In the table below, there is a list of the products for the months of February, March, April and May from the reports kept in the GIMDES files.
If we summarize the analyzes made in the last 4 months,
282 analyzes were conducted for 98 products. These studies were produced to reveal statistical data. The result of 12 samples was determined as unsuitable. A limit that does not comply with the standards was detected in 6 samples, and harmful contaminants in terms of health were detected in 3 samples. Bovine DNA was detected in 3 samples. According to the results, necessary notifications were made to the relevant companies and corrective/preventive actions were requested. These analyzes are made not only to certified companies, but also to companies that are in the certification phase. Allah knows the best.
