The 100th issue of our Turkish-language Halal Life Guide (Helal Yaşam Rehberi) magazine has been published.
Especially in the last 50-100 years, unnatural, processed and additive-containing foods, chemically solidified oils such as margarine, hot-pressed liquid oils such as sunflower oil and corn oil have started to be used excessively. As a result of these, the situation we encounter is that our genetic structure and the chemical reactions that occur in our bodies do not have the ability to cope with all unnatural foods. This incompatibility between genes and foods causes various diseases such as obesity, diabetes, coronary heart disease, etc. If we want to protect ourselves from these diseases, we should apply a halal and tayyib nutrition program that is as similar as possible to years ago. With this concern in mind, we have determined the topic of “Halal Food from Yesterday to Today” as the agenda in this issue.
