THE VOLUME OF HALAL DUNYA MARKETS IN TÜRKİYE IS INCREASING EVERY DAY

Dr. Hüseyin Kâmi BÜYÜKÖZER
– O humanity! Eat from what is lawful and good on the earth and do not follow Satan’s footsteps. (Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 168)
Market owners who opened branches of Halal Dunya Markets continue their work by saying, “Our aim is to bring people together with halal certified products provided by a known and trusted institution. This business has both commercial and spiritual aspects. We have no right to sell to someone else a morsel that does not pass our throats.”
In the markets where there are 22 thousand different products of 500 companies certified by GIMDES, in addition to main foods such as chicken, red meat products, cheese, frozen foods, milk, kashar, flour, oil, tea, sugar, water, pasta, honey, ayran, yogurt, tahini, molasses, chocolate, bakery products, spices, sugary products, fun products for children, various cosmetics and cleaning products, especially shampoo and toothpaste for babies and adults, are also offered for sale. All products sold in the markets are inspected and certified by GIMDES.
After our Üsküdar branch opened a few months ago, together with our Çorum HDM and Pendik Kurtköy branches that we will open soon, nearly 50 real, one overseas and one online branches have been put into operation by our entrepreneurial brothers. As our people’s awareness and consciousness about Halal Lokma increases, interest in HDM shopping centers is increasing and their numbers are increasing.
The geography where HDM branches have been located so far: Aksaray, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Düzce, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Ispara, İstanbul, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Konya, Malatya, Osmaniye, Sakarya, Şanlıurfa, Vienna…
The monthly turnover of these markets is between 500 thousand and 2.5 million TL, and between 6 million and 30 million TL annually.
Since we have a total of 81 provinces today, there is a need for HDM branches in at least 64 more provinces. Our GIMDES volunteer brothers should support the opening of branches in these provinces by convincing our tradesmen brothers in these provinces in order to earn rewards.
