GIMDES continues to reach a wide audience through its domestic and international connections.
GIMDES organized two events on September 11, 2025. The Indonesian BPJPH visited GIMDES headquarters to sign an MoU with GIMDES. During the visit, the 12-person delegation addressed the sensitive issues of religious sects regarding Halal certification and the development of trade between Turkey and Indonesia. Following the signing of the MoU with BPJPH, lunch was served to our guests.

Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti., and Abdurrahman Tatlıcı Gıda San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. Tadıbu brand chocolate spread from the company and fruit juice from Meysu Gıda San. ve Tic. A. Ş. were served to our guests.
The Halal Dünya Marketleri branch, which is under the supervision of GIMDES, was visited, and we were informed about the halal-certified product market and our efforts to make products accessible to the public. The guests expressed their satisfaction with their visit and expressed their gratitude to GIMDES for their hospitality.
Simultaneously, the GIMDES Women’s Board Istanbul Representative organized a picnic in the garden of the Süleymaniye Mosque. Approximately 200 people attended the picnic, where GIMDES was introduced and information about its activities was provided. A quiz was held. Twelve participants who answered the questions correctly received books from GIMDES publications. Children participated in a face painting activity, and balloons bearing the GIMDES logo were distributed. At the event, which brought together GIMDES volunteers and followers, guests had the opportunity to ask questions about halal and Tayyib foods and learn more about GIMDES activities.
All attendees were treated to refreshments from our sponsor, Meysu Gıda San. ve Tic. A. Company’s fruit juice, Nafia Gıda Kozmetik Temizlik İnş. Turizm San. ve Tic. Ltd. Company’s Gül Afia brand snacks, and GIMDES-printed souvenirs were presented. We thank Gayret Association for their support of our picnic program.
