The Halal Dunya Markets branch, which provides our people with convenient access to Halal and Tayyib products, has opened in Bayrampaşa. The opening ceremony began with a Quran recitation and a verse exposition by GIMDES Fiqh Lecturer Mustafa MERAL. Following speeches by GIMDES President Dr. H. K. BÜYÜKÖZER and Mr. Öner BULUT, the most senior HDM branch manager, the ceremony continued with prayers and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The program was attended by Afia sales manager Mr. Muhammed Fatih SEVEN and Afia officials, Mr. Öner Bulut, owner of the Başakşehir Halal Dunya Markets branch, Mr. Ahmet Demirel, owner of the Sultangazi Halal Dunya Markets branch, Mr. Abdullah Akkuz, owner of the Üsküdar Halal Dunya Markets branch, and local residents. In his remarks, GIMDES General President Dr. Hüseyin Kâmi Büyüközer said, “Humanity’s most important asset is halal and tayyib consumption. GIMDES was founded in 2005 with this commitment, and today, it has certified more than 20,000 products and more than 2,000 brands. It conducts accreditation activities in dozens of countries, organizes international congresses, fairs, and festivals, and conducts awareness-raising activities for people of all ages through conferences. With our new branch in Bayrampaşa, we aim to make access to halal food easier.”
The final speech was delivered by our founder and manager, Mr. Muhammed Fatih Öner, who stated, “These initiatives offer the public products that comply with GIMDES inspection and standards, while also supporting domestic and national production.” He expressed his appreciation for efforts of Halal Dunya Markets in this area and their full support.
Following the speeches, a certificate was presented, accompanied by prayers, and the Bayrampaşa Halal Dunya Market branch was officially opened. Attendees showed great interest in the market’s rich product variety and quality. Special treats were distributed. The opening ceremony was sponsored by Afia and Meysu brands.
