Representatives of the Halal Accreditation Board (HAC) in Sri Lanka, who participated in the 5th Halal and Tayyib Fair we organized in 2014, sent a letter of thanks to GIMDES for two prestigious awards and a global certificate on workplace culture they won between years 2020-2021.
In their letter: “It is humbling to note that HAC has won these accolades proving its resilience, sound standing and capabilities. I wish to place on record my gratitude to the team of Association for the Inspection and Certification of Food and Supplies (GİMDES) for their vital support in enabling HAC to achieve this milestone. As part of the global Halal fraternity, the certification services offered by your organization, enables Sri Lankan food manufacturers to gain access to quality Halal certified products & raw materials. In addition, the verification services, the sharing of knowledge offered by your good offices, has enabled us to widen our understanding and help mitigate the risk of Non-Halal products & fraudulent certificates.
It is indeed through the collaborative & timely efforts of your team, that we have been able to deliver on our promise to our valued clients and earn the due recognitions.
