We set out in 2005 to raise public awareness that we must certify manufacturing companies so that our tables, workplaces, and homes meet the Halal and Tayyib criteria commanded by God. We must implement the Daru’l Halal Madrasa system to train those who will work in these services according to Islamic law. We must also establish Halal World Markets, which distribute halal and Tayyib, national, and local products without boycotts for daily needs. We must also implement the Karz-Hasan system to enable all these activities to be carried out with an interest-free financing system. We have decided to participate in the STK Fest 2025 event, hosted by Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, under the leadership of the Turkish Voluntary Organizations Foundation (TGTV) and the Union of Civil Society Organizations of the Islamic World (UNIW). Our goal for participating in this fair can be summarized as follows:
“NGO Fest,” which prioritizes the participation of young people alongside the public, aims to increase young people’s interest in civil society projects. Young people will have the opportunity to meet with NGOs through workshops.
The festival’s primary goals include encouraging our people and young people to explore volunteer opportunities, explore career opportunities, and develop a sense of social responsibility.
NGO Fest will feature workshops, stage performances, group competitions, charity exhibitions, and events such as a table of brotherhood.
The International NGO Fair aims to strengthen the cooperation of civil society organizations in the Islamic world, to publicize the genocide in Gaza and the global impact of Zionist ideology. We also aim to increase regional solidarity.
As GIMDES, DHV, and HDM UNION, we invite all our volunteers and the people of Istanbul to the fair. We say, “Come, let’s raise the voice of solidarity and brotherhood from Istanbul to the world together.”
