The “38th Halal and Tayyib Certification and Audit Procedures Training Program” willbe held online from May 19–23, 2026.
We have previously conducted this training 37 times and have issued certificates to over700 participants to date. In this 5-day training program, which will be our 38th, we willprovide detailed information on halal risks and the certification process in food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, cleaning products, and essential goods, as well as Islamiclegal issues, the Halal Assurance System, and the qualifications required for halalauditors. At the end of the training, participants who pass the written exam and, ifdeemed necessary, the oral exam will be awarded a certificate of participation in theHalal and Tayyib Certification and Audit Procedures Training.

The application requirements and program details are provided below:
1) The deadline for applications to the training program is May 16, 2026. Enrollment is limited to 25 participants.
2) Participants must first and foremost be adherents of the Islamic faith, fulfill theirreligious obligations, and practice a Halal lifestyle. Preference will be given based on educational level, profession, and experience. Participants must submit a detailed, photo-included resume.
3) To initiate the final registration process, applicants must email a letter of intent toparticipate in the training and their resume to irtibat@gimdes.org.
4) If the quota is filled, other applications will be placed on a waiting list and consideredfor future training sessions.
5) Upon completion of the pre-registration process, the 25 individuals selected toparticipate in the training must deposit 1,000 TL as a donation for the Auditor Training into the DÜNYA HELAL VAKFI Kuveyt Türk account, whose details are providedbelow.

6) The training will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM.
7) Individuals currently working as auditors, experts, observers, or in similar capacitiesin halal certification activities at institutions other than GİMDES within Turkey will not be eligible to participate in the GİMDES audit system.
8) Exam results will be communicated to participants via email.
TRAINING PROGRAM
First Day
Theoretical and practical courses on Islamic Religion, Religious Concepts, Halal andTayyib Standards, and Halal Certification.
Second and Third Days
Information on food safety practices, including non-Islamic standards such as ISO andKosher, as well as Halal and Tayyib product safety protocols and the Halal AssuranceSystem (HGS) certification process—covering pre– and post-certification procedures.
Fourth Day
Auditor performance, audit procedures, and scenarios.
Fifth Day
Review of topics, written exam, and an oral exam if deemed necessary. All trainingdocuments will be provided in digital format to participants after the application is submitted.
