Our nation buried the coup and its perpetrators, who were hung over our country like a bundle of treachery, deep underground on the night of July 15, never to be raised again. Even though nine years have passed, “We have not forgotten July 15, and we will not forget it.”
“THEY TRIED TO DESTROY THE NATION WITH THE NATION’S WEAPON”
“Our Türkiye experienced a terrible nightmare on July 15. The Republic of Türkiye… They attempted to destroy an entire nation with the nation’s weapons, the nation’s planes, the nation’s helicopters, and the nation’s tanks, which they had usurped from state institutions by people carrying ID cards and assigned to them. But Allah (SWT) did not give them this opportunity. The bomb of treason, prepared in minute detail, exploded in their hands. Today, we once again condemn those who, under the orders of external hostile powers, attempted a treacherous coup against the homeland, the nation, and the state. We congratulate our nation, who stood with heroic resistance against the attacks, deceptions, and traps of the FETÖ terrorist organization, and our heroes who stood by the nation. We remember with gratitude those who participated in this honorable struggle. We wish Allah’s mercy upon our martyrs and health and well-being to our veterans.

“Having thwarted the treacherous July 15th coup attempt with all its resources, Türkiye has become even stronger today and has become a hope for all the oppressed people of the world. “July 15th,” a symbol of our national rebirth, is the anniversary of both our national unity and solidarity and our national resurrection. We are commemorating the ninth anniversary of this magnificent day. For brighter days, we must pass on the spirit of July 15th to future generations in unity and solidarity.
JUSTICE IS ALWAYS OUR EMOTION
We must be vigilant in our fight against ‘FETÖism,’ which targets our faith, unity and solidarity, peace, and brotherhood. FETÖism is a stereotype. We must recognize this stereotype well. We will call anyone who fits this stereotype a ‘FETÖist.’ This stereotype; It is to legitimize lies, plunder, slander, and anything to achieve its goals. It is to identify people’s misdeeds and use them as blackmail, to steal questions. It is to pretend not to believe, to resort to every means to attain a position it does not deserve. It is to sell out one’s honor, one’s nation, and one’s homeland for one’s own depraved cause. Everyone has seen for years what FETÖ members have been trying to bring Türkiye to. If we fail to properly assess all these processes and trivialize July 15th, we cannot prevent similar uprisings. With the justification that “we must take July 15th seriously,” we must not abandon justice to ensure that the right and the wrong, the oppressor and the oppressed, are not placed on the same pedestal.
