Mr. Driton Dikena, President of the Macedonian Halal Agency, the agency’s Türkiye affairs officer, and a four-person delegation visited the Food and Necessary Goods Inspection and Certification Research Association (GIMDES). During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the long-standing collaboration.
GIMDES President Dr. Hüseyin Kami Büyüközer emphasized the importance of the work carried out with the agency and expressed his satisfaction with the continued strengthening of the collaboration. The meeting also addressed the call for unity conveyed to the members of the World Halal Council, reiterating the importance of the sense of belonging to the Ummah and working together.
In another visit that same day, Hasan and Haamid from Johannesburg-based Halal Tech visited GIMDES headquarters to express their cooperation. The company representatives provided information about the digital services they have developed and explained that they aim to establish agreements with reliable halal certification bodies and make these services available to both producers and consumers.
Dr. Hüseyin Kami Büyüközer emphasized the importance of Helal Tech’s initiative and emphasized the need for reliable halal certification bodies both in South Africa and globally.
Both visits concluded with mutual well-wishes and prayers.
