In one verse, Allah(swt) explains our purpose of creation and our responsibility: I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. I seek no provision from them, nor do I need them to feed Me. (Adh-Dhariyat,56)
Do people think they will be left without purpose? (Al-Qiyamah,36)
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “You ˹all˺ would not ˹even˺ matter to my Lord were it not for your faith ˹in Him˺. But now you ˹disbelievers˺ have denied ˹the truth˺, so the torment is bound to come.” (Al-Furqan,77)
The verses clearly state that man has a purpose in creation. In that case, man should care about the purpose of his creation and turn away from the temporary pleasures of the world by following the path of zuht. Of course, it was our Prophet (PBUH) who best understood that the main purpose of man is to serve Allah (swt), he lived a life in accordance with Allah’s command throughout his life. After our Prophet (PBUH), our Companions of the Companions devoted themselves completely to this goal.
We did not create the heavens and the earth and everything in between for sport. We only created them for a purpose, but most of these ˹pagans˺ do not know. (Ad-Dukhan,38-39)
This is the real purpose of creation. Human; worldly pleasures, being servants to the servants, were not created to submit to authorities other than Allah (swt), and human was created only to obey Allah (swt), to tawhid Allah, and to fulfill Allah’s orders.
All books have been downloaded for this. All prophets since Adam (pbuh) have been sent for this purpose. Let people then consider what they were created from! ˹They were˺ created from a spurting fluid, stemming from between the backbone and the ribcage. (At-Tariq, 5-7)
He is the One Who created you from a single soul, then from it made its spouse so he may find comfort in her. After he had been united with her, she carried a light burden that developed gradually. When it grew heavy, they prayed to Allah, their Lord, “If you grant us good offspring, we will certainly be grateful.” (Al-A’raf,189).
For this reason, men and women are absolutely necessary for the continuation of the human race. Human beings have to comply with the purpose of their birth, in legitimate conditions, the man and woman have to live within the framework of the union. Except this; any kind of relationship that will prevent the continuation of the generation cursed, forbidden.
In history; Perverted relations that would prevent the continuation of generations (as it was contrary to the purpose of creation) were sometimes the subject of Allah’s intervention. The story of the tribe of Lut in the Qur’an provides exemplary information. This intervention will continue until the end of the world.
Why do you ˹men˺ lust after fellow men, leaving the wives that your Lord has created for you? In fact, you are a transgressing people.” (Ash-Shu’ara,165-166)
Homosexuality is an attitude known to be haram and illegitimate all over the world. To justify this behavior, denial individuals and states try to establish some so-called intellectual foundations and to show homosexuality as extremely widespread and legitimate… According to its advocates, this is a requirement of natural diversity and should be respected.
However, the reality about homosexuality is very different. Godlessness, enmity towards God, denial of Allah (swt) are the most important qualities of homosexuals. They are giving their most important struggles on this issue. Homosexuality, which was a perversion peculiar to the tribe of Lut in the time of Prophet Abraham (pbuh), is now sought to be spread all over the world. Therefore, putting an end to these propagandas in order to prevent homosexuality is a matter of faith for those who believe in Allah (swt), it is of vital importance.
