We are happy to have held our 7th Youth in Halal Life Conference, with the cooperation of GIMDES and GIMDES Volunteer, on Sunday, February 18, between 14:00 – 17:00 at the TÜGVA Headquarters Conference Hall.
Our conference started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by our brother Abdülhak Navruz. After GİMDES and GİMDES Volunteer video introductions, GİMDES Volunteer President Mehmet Ali Yafez made the greeting speech.
After Mr. Elman Necefzade’s speech about education in Islam and the Daru’l Halal Madrasa education system, our Mustafa Meral Hodja gave a talk on halal food.
GİMDES President Hüseyin Kâmi Büyüközer started his speech by reminding us of our goal and talked about the cause awareness with sections from his own life. He gave the example of Ashab al-Kahf and said that today’s youth should set an example.
A 1-year subscription to the Halal Life Guide magazine was given as a gift to 10 halal food volunteers by a raffle from the conference participants. Subsequently, our conference ended with the presentation of plaques to the speakers.
At the end of the conference, participants were given gift packages containing GIMDES Publications and GIMDES certified treats.
