The “37th Halal and Tayyib Certification and Auditing Procedures Training Program,” held online from November 4-8, continues its fourth day today with the participation of 21 participants, including physicians, theologians, agricultural engineers, university students, laboratory technicians, food engineers, and teachers. The first day of the 5-day training course will cover the topics of Why Halal Food, Islam, Religious Concepts, Halal Standards, Halal Certification. The second and third days will cover current practices in Food Safety, Halal Food Safety practices and Halal Assurance System (HGS) during the pre- and post-certification process. The fourth day will cover Auditor performance, Auditing procedures and scenarios, Training, Fiqh rules, Animal Slaughtering Rules, the importance of the institution of Guarantee. The fifth day will feature a written exam and, if deemed necessary, an oral exam.
