South Marmara Development Agency maintains its leadership position in promoting Halal certified product exports in the food industry. In order to support the companies in their region, this agency is renting a 100 square meter premise in the 3rd Halal and Healthy Products Exhibition organized jointly by GIMDES and CNR exhibition company.
GMKA general secretary Mustafa Gündoğan, has invited all the Halal certified firms in the region to the World Halal Products Exhibition taking place in CNR EXPO centre from 30th August to 2nd September. Mustafa Gündoğan has stated that stalls will be prepared for certified firms in Çanakkale and Balıkesir, and is especially aiming to establish the export connections of these firms.
GMKA, held the “Halal Certification for Exports” symposium last February and May, and through this symposium has introduced the concept of Halal certification to the firms in the region.
