Our Halal Dunya Markets in the earthquake area started their activities again by picking up the pieces. Our Halal Dunya Market Osmaniye branch moved its destroyed branch and started to serve its customers at Mimarsinan mah 8529 sk no 19A Merkez/Osmaniye address, by saying ‘Bismillah’ from where it left off. Similarly, our Kahramanmaraş branch continues its activities by eliminating material damages and negativities in its market. In addition, our Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa branches continue their activities from where they left off. Our Malatya branch cannot work until the grocery goods are recovered due to the heavy damage to its market.
The relief works of GIMDES continues in the earthquake area.
WHC members sent the 5 million dollar aid package directly to the earthquake victims through the Consulate, together with the Red Crescent and Afad aid organizations. The financial aid of approximately 300.000 TL that GIMDES and GIMDES volunteers have made so far continue to be delivered to those in need in the form of Halal and Tayyib food and cleaning product packages prepared through our markets in the region.
